First Post: Welcome to my Official Unofficial Blog about Boomerang




Hi Folks, and welcome to my first blog dedicated to the only channel that brings you cartoons 24 hours 7 days a week.  Boomerang got its roots in 2000 as both a block on Cartoon Network and a channel dedicated to Turner's large selection of classic iconic cartoons like Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, and more.  Today, Boomerang wishes to expand to new shows and make the classic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby-Doo the stars of the channel.

This blog is to give everyone news such as schedule updates and new shows coming to Boomerang.  In addition, this blog is a celebration of the shows that are airing or previously airing on Boomerang as well as a look back at the old Cartoon Network (roughly 1992-2004) before everything shifted over to Boomerang.

The top rare Pokemon episodes to search for

Everybody's searching for Pokemon on their iphones with the latest app, Pokemon Go.  Even some of the very rare ones and the most popular ones like Pikachu.  I....on the other hand.....am not very good at finding Pokemon on Pokemon Go (I claim it's because I play it the wrong way which is doing it safely).  What I am good at, however, is finding rare Pokemon episodes from the anime.  This is a list of Pokemon episodes that I deem very rare in no particular order. 1. Holiday Hi-Jynks This special episode of Pokemon is your typical what I call "Kiss Saves Santa" special.  Team Rocket kidnaps Santa because one of his Jynks stole Jesse's dolly.  It is up to Ash and his friends to stop them and save Santa Claus.  While the episode itself is very corny (I remember this being on Kids WB myself), this episode had a controversy with the Pokemon Jynks who is accused of being racially offensive to black people.  This episode has since been off of r...

You're Missing 5 TV Specials, Charlie Brown!!!!

  To help celebrate 75 years of Peanuts, it's decided to look back at some of the specials, but not just any specials.  With the announcement that an ultimate TV Special Collection is coming out on Blu-ray, it is suggested that 5 TV specials did not make the cut on Blu-ray.  In addition, these 5 specials could alos not be found on Apple TV +.  Throughout the years, the Charles M Schulz family and Peanuts Worldwide had been comitted to keep and preserve the legacy of Schulz and his Peanuts creations, but what were these 5 specials?  Where did they go?  Why are they "lost"?  This is our story.
