 First an important update : seems as though we didn't have a smooth transition to the new site after all as ALL of the pictures are gone.  So what next?  Well, I may have to filter what posts are more important to fix up and go from there, but that will take time and energy.  At least the information is still there.  If I could focus on one maybe per week I'll be happy.  Again, dealing with what's more important.  Looney Tunes TV History FIRST since that's my big project and then almost everything else from there.  Again, I apologize and thank you for your understanding But for now that doesn't matter because Classicflix and Cartoon Logic STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yes and this time I'm review the latest release, Fleischer Cartoons Greatest Hits vol 1, and considering Betty Boop is in the news again, it couldn't be at a perfect time whether to hype with excitement or to just stick to the originals like certain grumpy guses that says adults ...

 It's time for a major blu-ray review featuring something that is about time.  A blu-ray that has been something we wanted for some time now.  And that one is The Famous Studios Champion Collection. Famous Studios was actually the old Fleischer Studios which was legendary.  As I mentioned in previous reviews, Paramount who distributed the Fleischer cartoons wanted the entire studio for many reasons from infighting with the Flesicher brothers to the success of Popeye.  So they ousted the Fleischers and continued on without them.  While it's easy to think "what if" when it comes to the loss of Max and Dave Fleischer, but based on what I see, I'm sure the studio would have still done some of the same but with features and featurettes in mind and then some.  But the reality is that they were no more and the studio becomes Famous Studios.  They would continue with Popeye, but also start a series called Noveltoons featuring various characters over the y...

  Another wild year has come and gone, and boy was it wild.  In the midst of controversies, political craziness, and once again a seemingly abandoned blog with just updates for older posts, some still yet to come.  In the end, we had yet another rough year with 2026 looking to be even rougher, but we'll try anyways.  Here is my traditional year in review and predictions for 2026.  And yes, this is the first blog post from the ALL NEW blog site due to circumstances beyond my control.  But let's get started and see how I did prediction wise.   To help celebrate 75 years of Peanuts, it's decided to look back at some of the specials, but not just any specials.  With the announcement that an ultimate TV Special Collection is coming out on Blu-ray, it is suggested that 5 TV specials did not make the cut on Blu-ray.  In addition, these 5 specials could alos not be found on Apple TV +.  Throughout the years, the Charles M Schulz family and Peanuts Worldwide had been comitted to keep and preserve the legacy of Schulz and his Peanuts creations, but what were these 5 specials?  Where did they go?  Why are they "lost"?  This is our story.   I've been on a Pokemon fix recently, and most of my rewatching is from the moments Ash would battle for a badge from gym leaders thanks to the new Pokemon TV Youtube channel.  Some were nice while others were tough opponents.  For this list as something different, we are looking at each gym leader from weakest to strongest based on the number of battles and number of episodes to beat each one.  It almost seems like ranking bosses for a video game, which is fitting for such a series based off of a video game.  This will also include strategies on beating each leader based on the anime. Misty Badge: Cascade Badge No. of Battles to Badge: 1 No. of Episodes to get Badge: 1 So technically there are 4 gym leaders which includes Misty's sisters, but the decided to no longer battle and besides in the game, Misty is who you battle anyways.  Two against two, Ash gets the badge for saving their Pokemon from Team Rocket.  The strategy here is to use an electric ...

  Another year has come and gone, and for this blog it seems like not a lot of new material.  New articles were abandoned somewhat, but maintaining older ones continued with more and more updates, especially with the arrival of....hold on I'm getting ahead of myself.  It was indeed a rough year, but we got through it.  Here is the lookback of 2024 and new this year will be my predictions for 2025 Animated Features As always, we start off with what's going on with animated features.  Actually, a lot has been going on with Disney probably getting back on track with Inside Out.  We also got The Garfield Movie which helped put Garfield back on the map for at least a little while.  Transformers became a dud, but Sonic 3 became a hit.  The Wild Robot surprised everyone with its heartwarming tale.  Though not every movie was a hit, there is some hope for better things to come.  My 2025 predictions are hard to make since I'm not entirely sure wh...
