Creepypastas and Conspiracy Theories: Charlie Brown has Cancer

Image
Time for another conspiracy theory.  This time it involves Good Ol' Charlie Brown.  This theory claims the Charlie Brown is dying of cancer????? Here's the theory and it is as simple as this, Charlie Brown is bed ridden with cancer dying.  What we see are his dreams.  The reason everything goes wrong is because he is depressed about having cancer.  This explains everything going wrong with Charlie Brown as well has his bald head. Here's what we know.  Charles Schulz made Charlie Brown to show some of his own insecurities such as unrequited love.  That's not to say Schulz was a depressed man, and if anyone has been around him, they will tell you that's not the Charles Schulz they knew.  But even he felt bad that Charlie Brown never could kick that football.  Not to mention Schulz did die from Colon Cancer in 2000. But here's where things get fishy.  A Watch Mojo.com video says in a sarcastic voice describing this theory...."Try...

Public Domain Highlights: Amvest Video

Image
Let's get all comfy and cozy.  Actually, let's rather not.  The next public domain video company to highlight is a very notorious one called Amvest Video. Amvest Video was actually Audiofidelity records.  They have released numerous records over the years, but most of them bootlegged.   There were two lines in the Amvest video department which was formed in the late 80's: Grampa and Kid Pics Grampa's videos were mostly Halloween tapes such as horror flicks, trailers, and cartoons.  It was hosted by Al Lewis who played Grandpa Munster.  Noticed the series was called GRAMPA, not GRANDPA in order to get away from a potential lawsuit against Universal.  Grampa's Scary Stories and Silly Scaries featured public domain cartoons that were themed Halloween.  So you get Casper the Ghost, Popeye the Sailor, and many others.  Surprisingly, The Raven, which was never a public domain cartoon, made it to the cut on one of these tapes.  However,...

Sailor Venus....This is Your Life!!

Image
It's time once again for This is a Life?  America's most talked about program brought to you by Eagle Hands Dirty Laundry and by Metlife....oh wait they got rid of Snoopy....never mind, ax that sponsor. My next honoree is my all time favorite anime character....oooo..I just love this one so much.  She started out the Sailor Guardian business with her own manga before the main leader was brought about.  Being her birthday this weekend, we have to give her some honor.  She may be obnoxious at times, but it's full of personality.  Representing the Goddess of Beauty and Love.......... This is Your Life!!!!!!!!! Minako is just another schoolgirl with a normal life.  Her ambitions are to be the best she can be, but even she can be clumsy at times.  Her goals include being the best in volleyball and even becoming an idol. But then one day, she ran into this cat named Artemis, and told her that she has superpowers.  Once they are awakene...

Creepypastas and Conspiracy Theories: Abandoned by Disney

Image
It's time for another creepypasta.  This one has everyone's head scratching.  Was there really a Disney Theme Park that has been left abandoned???  Today, we look at the story called Abandoned by Disney. Legend has it that years ago, Disney had plans to open up another theme park called Mowgli's Place.  It was themed like The Jungle Book.  It opened with many locals not thrilled about it.  Many people came and then they just stopped.  Disney cleaned out any website mentioning the place.  Luckily, a blogger just happened to have had promotional stuff telling where it may have been located, and by God there it was abandoned.  As he entered, there was graffiti spelling "abandoned by Disney" throughout.  Because this place had animals, there were some on the loose such as a snake.  Inside the castle, he came across the room that said "Mascots Only".  The door's lock was rusted enough to break open.  He walks down this dar...

Top Not So Scary Clown Cartoons

Image
Clowns have been in the news for a while now.  Many "clowns" are walking around scaring people and worse, luring kids.  These "bozos" are giving clowns a bad name.  While I don't like clowns myself, most clowns are not bad.  And in animation, they had their share of clowns.  Here are some of the top clown cartoons that are not so scary to kids and adults in chronological order. 1. Bozo the Clown   Bozo was first created by Capitol Records to sell many records to kids, but in the 1980's, Larry Harmon bought the rights to the character and transformed him from a record album character into a full fledged TV star.  Appearing in many local stations performed by a local TV personality, Bozo would perform skits, talk to kids, and played games for prizes.  Part of the show would be a Bozo cartoon (although other cartoons would turn up from time to time like Bugs Bunny and Rocky and Bullwinkle).  These 5 minute shorts had limited animation like...

Creepypastas and Conspiracy Theories: Dead Bart

Image
Ready for a good Creepypasta?  No?  Well, me either...but don't worry, this one isn't THAT scary, and not that good either, but let's take a look at it anyway. Legend has it that there is a rare Simpsons episode that is considered a "lost" episode.  In the first season, the episode was entitled Dead Bart.  Fans supposedly asked about it at conventions, but folks like David Silverman would refuse to even talk about it.  They also warned never to mention this episode to Matt Groening, the show's creator.  A blogger stated that he did approach Groening at a convention and brought up the lost episode.  Groening almost broke down, but he was able to write down what was a website link.  After the blogger got home, he types in the address, and there was a download link of the episode.  It gave his computer a lot of viruses and ruined the computer completely, but not before he put the file on a disc.  When watching it, Bart falls off of a p...
